2026
To add to the list:
- pay for a strangers’ groceries
- share my food with coworkers who are going through financial difficulties
- a friend lost her job so I bought her a Costco giftcard to help support her and her family
- clean up after my colleagues, I am a very tidy person and they are not for the most part
- leave bigger tips when I dine out
2024
Just a few things:
- tutored biochem and pathophysiology students for free
- taught coworkers how to use TikTok and how to make reels on IG
- whenever my coworkers alerted me about patients who have passed away and we saw that their families set up a gofundme, I’d donate anonymously
- two friends recently had surgery due to cancer, I sent them Amazon and Doordash giftcards so they wouldn’t have to worry about food or random things that they may need while they’re trying to recover
- put a small tab down at a coffee shop for homeless vets to get a cup of java without charge
- had groceries delivered to my ex (Big Bang) for a couple of months, while he was in between jobs
- donate clothing and other small items quarterly to local charities
- performed CPR on a patron who became unconscious after he choked on a piece of meat while at a steakhouse.
- bring snacks monthly for my assistants
- provide a safe space for coworkers who are struggling
- lose me, to love me…
