Remember my friend asking me for advice on her situationship?

She reenacted a scene of her last date.  She had told the guy she was dating others but that she felt the most connected with him.  This is when he began to slowly pull away from her and she became frazzled by this because to her, then the guy should be more aggressive and “try harder” to get her.

I told her that if I was the dude, I’d just back the fuck off because “that’s just too much work with someone who wants to FAFO (fuck around and find out).”  Especially, this early in the relationship.  She was beside herself.

She told me that the man should love the woman way more for the relationship to work.  I asked her if she wanted a simp.  She replied, “Yes! That’s exactly what I want.”  I groaned.  I’m a bit different than her.  I like someone who will challenge me (especially when I’m wrong), put me in my place (depending on the topic), and treat me like the best thing he’s ever had.  In return, I’ll make him feel fucking special and amazing (physically and mentally, hah).  She gave an exasperated sigh and then said, “Men fall for you all the time and become such simps.  I want to be love-bombed.”  I shook my head and said, “Nah, you don’t.  I don’t want that shit for myself either.”

She asked me what she should do.  I asked her, “What do you want to do besides juggle these men at the same time?”  She didn’t have an answer.  I told her that she was going to eventually make a choice and it may be better to do it now rather than later.  She asked, “Why?”  I told her because I get the sense that when they all find out about each other, they’re gonna ghost you or you’re gonna feel badly about what transpired.  She looked at me with the saddest eyes and said, “Okay, I trust you…”
