What is a misconception many people have that drives you wild?
There are a few:
- that I’m submissive and timid. It depends on the circumstances and with who. Other than that, just because I don’t bark doesn’t mean that I don’t bite. People love to assume that being quiet means weakness, but I’m just selective with my energy.
- that I’m an extrovert because I’m good at navigating people at work. I can turn it on at work when I’m trying to network and be mindful of the work politics. I know how to play the game, but trust me, the second I clock out, I want silence, solitude, and maybe a snack.
- that being particular = OCD. It’s not.
- K-drama is real life. As much as my little heart wishes it were, it’s not. I’m not going to magically run into a chaebol heir who falls in love with me after I spill coffee on his Gucci loafers.
- Adidas doesn’t stand for “All day I dream about sex/sports/soccer”. This myth needs to retire already.
People will assume whatever they want but I’m not here to explain myself to the willfully ignorant.
