LINK: festa day
June 13th is the day that BTS debuted.
BTS festa is an event hosted by BTS to celebrate the month of June.
It’s also ARMY’s 13th anniversary with BTS.
My friends and I planned on going to see the BTS World Tour ARIRANG in Busan: Live Viewing at the movie theaters when we first found out about it.
I woke up in the morning feeling like crap because I didn’t sleep much Friday night or the nights before since I’ve been working non-stop 13 days straight. I pushed snooze three times before finally rolling out of bed. I thought about canceling but that would have been a dick move and I was the driver this time. I had to pick up three of them and drive us all to the movie theater.

Dripped out in BTS merch. BTS Arirang World Tour ball cap and zip-up hoodie.
I was feeling exceptionally lazy and didn’t bother taking a shower (thank goodness I lack the ABCC11 gene) nor did I brush my hair, but at least I changed my undies, washed my face and brushed my teeth. That’s gotta count for something.

None of us had eaten so we decided to have brunch at Lazy Dog. I ordered the chicken shawarma salad. It tasted really good except it was drenched with dressing and tzatziki sauce so I was only able to eat the top half of the salad.

We finally made it to the movie theater. I was happy that we had the lounger seats and I was able to recline back.

There were ARMY giving out freebies and Oreos. I was given three Oreos by three different people. I tried giving them to my friends but they were Oreo’d out.

I’ve never been to Busan before but it looks similar to the other cities, heavily populated with a sea of high-rise apartments/condos. I spent most of my time in either 인천 (Incheon) or 서울 (Seoul).

Despite going to the Arirang concert three times already, every time I see it, it feels like I’m watching it again for the first time.
The movie was 2 hours and 45 minutes long but it didn’t feel like it. But then again, I did fall asleep for a few minutes here and there. The sheer exhaustion and anemia situation were making me feel like a narcoleptic.

We stayed till the end and we were surprised that they were going to have another live viewing from Argentina. I think this is BTS trying to keep their fandom engaged and we’re here for it.

My assistant sent me a thread about a local Korean restauranteur who is an ARMY celebrating Festa Day and invited people to come and get freebies. I told my friends about it and they immediately wanted to go support her restaurant.
Part of me was annoyed at myself and I had regrets for bringing it up because I simply wanted to go home and induce myself into a coma but they were hungry and so was I.
We ordered angus brisket spicy bibim noodle that we split four ways and prime beef bulgogi with glass noodles (not pictured). Then there were the standard side dishes and they wanted purple rice to commemorate the day. We were absolutely stuffed.

We met the owner and she was so friendly. She had the restaurant decorated with a bunch of BTS posters and purple balloons.

She gave us a whole bag of the BTS Oreos. None of my friends wanted it so I’m bringing it into work to share with coworkers again.

The freebies I received from ARMY. I didn’t even make any freebies this time around. I didn’t have the bandwidth to do anything but to sit and eat apparently.
When I got home, I knocked out as soon as my head hit the pillow. I didn’t want to wake up until Monday morning…
