It’s been one week since you looked at me
Dropped your arms to the sides and said, “I’m sorry”
Five days since I laughed at you and said
“You just did just what I thought you were gonna do”
Three days since the living room
We realized we’re both to blame but what could we do?
Yesterday, you just smiled at me
‘Cause it’ll still be two days ’til we say we’re sorry
It’s National Chinese Takeout Day. What do you typically order at a Chinese restaurant?

I’d love to read your responses
I love all cuisines, but these are a few of my fav Chinese foods:

Beef roll. I like to add a bit of hot chili to it for some flavor.

Crab rangoon. Bonus points if it’s fresh. Yeah, I know that this was completely created in the U.S. but, it still shows up in American-Chinese and Thai restaurants.

Salt and pepper fried fish. It looks simple enough but the flavor… the flavor!

Orange chicken. Even though it’s not authentic Chinese food, it still slaps.

Mapo tofu. I can never go wrong with tofu and a scoop of rice.

XLB (Xiao Long Bao) dumplings. These juicy little soup dumplings are so delicious.

Chinese eggplant with garlic sauce.

Dry-fried green beans.

And if I’m going to dim sum, it’s gonna be the shrimp rice noodle rolls and turnip cake.
I also like scallion pancakes, dan dan noods, and Hainan chicken. On a cold night, hot pots are always good. I do enjoy congee but I prefer the Korean version, 죽 (juk).
