LINK: time to get k-dramatic
Have you ever let someone win an argument even though you knew you were right? Who? And why?
Prompt created by yours truly.
Feel free to use any prompts for September that I post and/or tag me.
I’d love to read your responses

I do it quite frequently with my mom. Mostly because I don’t have the bandwidth and she has an exorbitant amount of energy and time to debate this and that. She wakes up and chooses violence. The woman can go for hours like a long distance marathon runner while I’m gassed out after the first mile.
My responses to her are in a calm manner and factual. She runs on feelings and gets irrational at times, to the point where she will yell and her arms are flailing through the air. I don’t like drama in my personal life. I don’t care for theatrics or histrionics either, unless it’s a K-movie/drama.
She can also be passive-aggressive, not just with me but I’ve seen her behave like this towards my dad when he was alive. I do have K-rage but for the most part, I’ve been able to suppress it. It really takes a lot for me to get angry. Like a lot. I’m more passive (but if warranted, I can get sassy and snarky, rarely do I get pissed off) and I usually will stop talking to her after I’ve said my peace. Then I’ll let her ramble on and on for a while. Afterward, I’ll get up and tell her that I have to do household chores or work, which she won’t deter me from doing because they’re important. But that won’t stop her from muttering under her breath that I’m an ingrate, slamming her bedroom door, and giving me the silent treatment for days. She’s giving… Pisces.
There have been times when my mom says I act more like a guy than a girl. And in those instances when we argue, I do have to agree with her.
