I’m not one who likes to talk about how much money I have or make. But right now, I’m comfortable with my wage… but would I want more without working more? Obvi. Doesn’t everyone?
Southern California is very expensive, I’m sure Northern California and the East Coast are as well. But here, a single-person household making $100,000 is considered low income in many counties. To be even considered upper-middle class, a person has to make at least $156,000. I’m gonna let this sink in just a bit…
The NY Post wrote that to be considered “rich” in Los Angeles, an income of $535,000+ would be a satisfier. I am not rich, but that doesn’t stop me from dreaming of winning the lotto one day.
Money may not buy happiness, but it does buy a lot of peace of mind.
