I have a few plushies next to my computer screen that I rotate on a monthly basis. This is the set up for today. It’s a bit cluttered but it’s the only place at my home that is. IDK why I like it like this. It looks like I have an audience while I’m working.

This is my work area at home, mostly used for my consulting gigs. I have another area for personal computer usage.

But yeah… these plushies are helping me get through the days/weeks/months/years.

    Prayer for today COMMANDING THE MORNING
    Saturday, 5 September 2026

    Father, in the mighty, glorious, and matchless name of Jesus Christ, I thank You for the gift of this new day. Thank You for Your mercy that is new every morning, for Your faithfulness that never fails, and for the breath in my lungs. “This is the day the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24). I receive this day as a gift from Your hand, and I consecrate every hour, every decision, every conversation, every assignment, and every opportunity of this day to You.

    Father, I enter this day under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. I acknowledge that Jesus is Lord over my life, over my mind, over my body, over my plans, over my relationships, over my work, over my resources, and over everything that concerns me. According to Proverbs 3:5–6, trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Therefore, I acknowledge You in every area of my life today. Direct my steps. Govern my decisions. Order my priorities. Let my thoughts, words, attitudes, and actions come under the government of Your Spirit.

    Holy Spirit, lead me throughout this day. Let me be sensitive to Your promptings and quick to respond when You speak through Your Word. According to Romans 8:14, for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. I choose to walk by the Spirit and to bear the fruit of the Spirit in every environment I enter. Let love govern my responses, let joy strengthen my heart, let peace rule my mind, let patience shape my interactions, let kindness mark my conduct, let goodness influence my decisions, let faithfulness establish my character, let gentleness govern my strength, and let self-control guard my actions.

    Father, according to Psalm 119:133, direct my steps by Your word, and let no iniquity have dominion over me. Let Your Word establish the boundaries of my life today. Give me discernment to recognise what is from You and wisdom to refuse what would pull me away from Your purposes. Your Word is “a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105). Illuminate my path today. Where there is uncertainty, give me wisdom. Where there is confusion, give me clarity. Where there is temptation, give me strength to choose righteousness. Where there is pressure, establish me in truth.

    Father, I enter this day clothed with the whole armour of God. According to Ephesians 6:14–18, I fasten the belt of truth around me, I put on the breastplate of righteousness, I establish my feet in the preparation of the gospel of peace, I take up the shield of faith, I put on the helmet of salvation, and I take the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Teach me to remain spiritually alert and prayerful throughout this day. Let faith rise in me when circumstances speak fear. Let truth govern me when emotions become loud. Let righteousness guard my heart. Let Your Word remain in my mouth.

    Father, I establish my mind in the truth of Romans 12:2. Let my mind be renewed by Your Word so that I may discern Your good, acceptable, and perfect will. I bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, according to 2 Corinthians 10:5. Let my imagination, expectations, plans, and inner conversations come under the authority of Jesus. Give me a sound mind, according to 2 Timothy 1:7, because You have given me “
    a spirit not of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

    Father, I commit my plans to You today. Proverbs 16:3 says, commit your works to the LORD, and your thoughts will be established. Establish my thoughts. Establish my purposes. Establish the work of my hands. Psalm 90:17 declares, establish the work of our hands for us—Yes, establish the work of our hands. Let everything I do today carry excellence, integrity, wisdom, and grace. Give me the discipline to complete what You have entrusted to me and the discernment to recognise what does not belong to this season.

    Father, go before me today. Isaiah 45:2 declares, I will go before you and make the crooked places straight. Let Your presence go before me. Prepare the way concerning every appointment, every conversation, every responsibility, and every encounter. Psalm 121:8 says, The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore. I trust You with my going out and my coming in.

    I declare that my heart is established in the Lord. I will walk in wisdom. I will speak words that give life. I will conduct myself with integrity. I will respond with grace. I will recognise divine opportunities. I will be attentive to the people You place before me. I will not allow the cares of this life to make me spiritually dull, but I will remain watchful, prayerful, and sensitive to Your Spirit.

    Father, I thank You that Your presence accompanies me throughout this day. Psalm 23:4 declares, I will fear no evil; for You are with me. Your presence is my confidence. Your Word is my foundation. Your Spirit is my Helper. Your grace is sufficient for me. Your strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

    Therefore, I enter this day with faith. I enter this day with expectation. I enter this day with wisdom. I enter this day under divine government. I enter this day conscious of the presence of God and confident in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

    Let this day glorify You! Let my life honour You! Let my words reflect You! Let my decisions please You! Let my work serve Your purposes! Let my relationships reveal Your character! Let my prayer life remain alive! Let my heart remain hungry for You.

    And when this day is complete, let me be able to look back and say that I walked faithfully with You. For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen (Romans 11:36).

    In the mighty and matchless Name of Jesus Christ,
