How do you prioritize your life?

Iβd love to read your responses
I have what seems like a never ending list of “to-do”. I prioritize my day hour by hour because it’s subject to change. I have to be flexible because anything can happen. I could get a last minute request from my consulting job so I have to shuffle my schedule around to accommodate it. Often times, things get pushed to the back burner till I have “free time” to complete those tasks. It’s almost like playing Jenga and Tetris at the same time.
It’s difficult for me to function like this because I like to have a schedule that is concrete but my jobs don’t really allow me to do that. I am also not a morning person (I feel like I become alive at night) but my work forces me to wake up early. All I can do is make sure that I get adequate sleep, have snacks on hand, and keep hydrated to keep me going.
