Are we more informed than ever or more overwhelmed? Or both?

I’m more informed in real time than any generation before me… and overstimmy’d at the same time. I legit cannot keep up with Aaron Parnas on social media. I feel like he’s reporting news every five minutes and it’s just too much for me.

There’s hella fake news out there and unfortunately, it spreads like wildfire before people can even fact check it. AI reels and TikToks don’t make it any easier to filter out the truth either.

Having a smartphone is a blessing and a curse. I can literally look up anything, see just about anything, any time, any where. Because I have that easy instant access, I purposely keep my notifications off and try to stay off my phone when I’m at work. I’m also concerned about the amount of exposure of blue light from my phone and computer, so I bought a few pairs of blue light blocker glasses for work. I’m told that it makes me look “smart”.

Even after I’ve technically clocked out, the e-mails, texts, and calls from work never really stops. This is why I hate my work phone…

    Definitely overstimmied. I can’t even go anywhere to avoid screens. Last year when I went trekking a bunch of highschool kids brought their obnoxious loud speakers to a bird sanctuary. Birds aren’t dancing to skibidi poo bruh. Not a minute of silence.

    I avoid the news. And usually, if I hear something first, it’s either from someone else, or via someone on WordPress.
    I switched off where when I open a new browser on my phone the news feeds that would appear from Google, I don’t see no more. That was a great move for me. So, you can avoid a majority of the news if you want to.
    Plus, I don’t have a TV. I haven’t done for some years.

    I love this song by Stray Kids. I think I once listened to their music before. But I am going to listen to more of their music today, to see if I have.

        It makes it harder when you have coworkers sharing news. I luckily don’t have that problem.
        I listened to more of their songs and it is who I have listened to before. I might have listened to them either knowing them before from your blog or someone else’s. I do like their music.
