It really depends on who I’m going out with and where we’re going.
It could range from 10 minutes
Running errands with friends, getting coffee, going hiking or working out, eating at the local greasy spoon
- roll out of bed
- brush teeth
- wash face
- apply products to face (toner, lotion, and sunscreen)
- put hair in a claw clip or add barrettes
- put on comfortable lounge wear and socks
- grab my every day purse and water bottle
- put on my New Balance or sandals and I’m out the door
to about 90 minutes
Going on a date, wedding, funeral, leadership meetings, high tea or Michelin star restaurant
- roll out of bed
- take a shower
- brush teeth
- wash face
- apply hair products
- blow dry hair
- straighten hair
- apply products to face before makeup (toner, lotion, and sunscreen)
- apply makeup
- put on clothes that are appropriate for where I’m going or whatever I think looks cute for the day
- grab one of my fancier purses
- make a cup of coffee
- eat string cheese or handful of nuts (if I’m not going to be eating anytime soon)
- put on shoes/heels that matches with my fit and I’m out the door
