Do you write your posts on a phone, tablet, or a computer? And why?

POV from my desktop

I have a habit of writing posts from my desktop, mostly because I type faster (97 wpm with 1 error) on a keyboard than on a phone plus there are more features available from the desktop vs a phone.

I tend respond to comments either from my phone or desktop, depending on the time of day. I’m also more likely to make minor edits (spelling or grammar) from my phone just cause it’s more convenient, especially if I’m at work.

I gave my tablet to my mom so she can watch her K-dramas and shop online.

    Me too, I type quickly on my desktop and on my tablet, but a little bit slower on my phone.

    I’m writing all my posts on paper and encode on my phone. I’m more comfortable using jetpack than WordPress.com. But, pretty sure, it differs on the features and options.

    When i started blogging in 2011. I did my site on a computer, i had full flat bed scanner to scan my art as well. The computer died. Jess got a lap top she uses, but It doesn’t have a mouse. I then used a google chrome tablet. After that died I finally got a smart phone. And the blog is completely done via my phone using either the WordPress app or http://www.wordpress.com very rarely do i ever write a post using the Jetpack app

      oh wow!! last year, when i tried to log into the wp app, it directed me to the jetpack app and wouldn’t let me keep using the wp app. i think the wp app was much better imho.

        It doesn’t redirect me but it can be buggy. But I hate Jetpack, so I’d rather deals with bugs than deal with the shit workfliw of jetpack.

    The phone for me. Typing has slowed significantly so I can dictate to the phone anytime and use predictive text during editing to make it even easier! 😄🤯😄

    You’d think I’d prefer to write on my computer, with its tactile keyboard and large, friendly screen.

    And you’d be right.

    Except the phone is always on while the laptop has to boot up.

    And the phone fits in my hand while the computer needs a large flat surface to rest on that allows it to breathe.

    Plus, I’m not a fan of the WP interface.

    On either phone or computer, but it’s less annoying on the phone.

    So I usually use my phone.

    Plus, if I answer during lunch or on a break at work, well, I can’t be logging into WordPress and giving them proof this is my blog.

    HR already has it in for me…

    If it’s a long post, I prefer a computer and then edit from my phone; however, I do write many posts exclusively from my phone. It really depends on where I’m at… but I’m comfortable with writing on most devices. Keep up the great work on your blog! ☺️

    I’ve been using the phone, its just faster but I use the computer sometimes for edits. My notes stores a lot where I just have to copy.
