Currently listening to: Like Crazy – Jimin (from BTS)
She’s saying
Baby, 생각하지 마
(Baby, don’t think about it)
There’s not a bad thing here tonight
Baby, 떠나도 좋아
(Baby, you can leave it)
있어 줘 오늘까지만
(Stay with me until today)
We left the kiddo at the hotel and drove to Vesta in Redwood City because Taehyuung aka V, had mentioned loving it at Day 2 of the BTS concert. We pulled up at 2030, they closed at 2100 so I figured we wouldn’t get in, but the hostess said as long as we were seated before closing, we would be fine. What a damn relief…
Linda and Alyssa were in full simp mode, grilling the server about what BTS ordered, where they sat, who was there. The server admitted that he didn’t know who BTS was before all this and since V mentioned the restaurant at the previous concert, the restaurant has been packed non-stop. He even mentioned how one of the members dropped a fork and bent down to pick it up and apologized. He said that was very humble of him because most celebrities would leave it on the ground for the staff to pick it up. He said it was like Chuck E. Cheese, with girls and fans just streaming in, taking pictures, ordering the same foods as the singers, and posting on their socials.
We also found out that we missed seeing the members there by two hours. They loved the pizza and the food there so much that they came back twice. That’s unheard of because they usually just hit a place once and then move onto another restaurant.
Alyssa and Linda immediately went to sit where the BTS sat and I took pictures of them seated in the booth.

The food though… damn, V wasn’t lying. They really have excellent palates, I was in foodie heaven. The pizza, even though I’m not much of a sausage kinda gal, was perfection.
- salad – Gorgonzola, romaine, lolla rosa, oak leaf, blushed gem, cherry tomato, radish
- appetizer – cauliflower, toasted almonds, currants, serrano chili, honey, and breadcrumbs
- pizza – sausage and honey, tomato sauce, Italian sausage, mascarpone, serrano chili
After dinner, we fueled up at Costco and drove over to Alyssa’s brother’s house.
I’ve never been inside a billionaire’s home before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The house was enormous. I got lost in there twice, but then again, I am not good with directions whatsoever. Her brother and his wife were very down to earth and pleasant.
Side note: the brother was asking me A LOT of questions. He didn’t ask Linda any questions though. Hmm.
Alyssa handed me the keys and I drove Linda and myself back to the sketchy hotel. We unloaded the car, I took a much needed shower, did my skincare routine, brushed my teeth, and fell asleep. Around midnight, Alyssa sent a self of herself lying on the sidewalk at the merch line, wrapped in a blanket, complaining that she couldn’t sleep because she was too excited. I told her to close her eyes because it was going to be a very long day.
We had less than four hours before we needed to be in the merch line with Alyssa and her brother.
