This is how it all begins
México knows what’s up.
BTS sat down with Méxican President Claudia Sheinbaum for nearly 40 minutes, touring her office and receiving a commemorative plaque from the government. They were officially recognized as distinguished visitors—honored for inspiring the youth of México through their music and their commitment to building community around respect, empathy, diversity, and peace.
Within five hours of their arrival in CDMX (Cuidad de México/México City), 50,000 ARMY had already flooded the Zócalo hoping to catch a glimpse of them. The last time the city saw that kind of spontaneous mass gathering was for Michael Jackson (RIP) and The Beatles.
The economic impact is wild. Their concerts are projected to boost the city’s economy by $107.5 million USD. It makes sense considering that México ranks as the fifth largest K-pop market in the world.

I haven’t spoken to Guadalupe in months and she slid into my texts earlier today. She finally saw the BTS hype that’s been blowing up on the socials.

Don’t sleep on Pepe Aguilar, he’s a Grammy winning singer. I’ve been to his concerts and women are throwing their chonies at him with zero fucks given.

… swim, swim
This is how it all begins…
