is it worth it? let me work it.

What’s the most money you’ve ever spent on a meal? Was it worth it?

Currently listening to: work it – Missy Elliott

Unknowingly, I already posted about this awhile back. My friends and I took a jaunt over to the Napa area for the weekend and stuffed ourselves with the most fascinating foods.

Napa: tfl

It’s $390 per person, not including the add ons ($60 for the caviar, $160 black winter truffle mac + cheese, $135 Japanese wagyu) or alcohol.  I didn’t go for many of these as I was still full from lunch and had coffee since I was slipping into a food coma.

I’d have to say that it was definitely worth it.  It’s a once in a lifetime experience.  Getting reservations is nearly impossible, especially when we had a party of four. I loved how attentive the waitstaff was and how the chef signed my menu to take home + chocolates + cookies to take away and gave us a private tour of the kitchen.  It was impressive and immaculate.
