Currently listening to: The Winner Takes It All – ABBA
The winner takes it all (takes it all)
The loser has to fall (has to fall)
It’s simple, and it’s plain (it’s so plain)
Why should I complain? (Why complain?)
But tell me, does she kiss
Like I used to kiss you?
Does it feel the same
When she calls your name?
Somewhere deep inside
You must know I miss you
But what can I say?
Rules must be obeyed
How are you different when no one is watching?

I’d love read your responses.
Koreans have a saying that we have two sides to us—겉마음 (outside appearance) and 속마음 (inside appearance). The Japanese have something similar but they talk about having three faces (one for the world, one for family/friends, and one you never show anyone).

- I stand in front of the mirror without sucking anything in.
- I dance like a fool to K-pop songs.
- I ugly cry whilst watching K-dramas.
- I whisper to myself, “Why are you like this?” every day.
- I’m kind to strangers and don’t look for recognition or acknowledgement of my good deeds.
- I’m the one wearing a cozy blanket hoodie with shorts on and a messy top bun when I’m at home looking homely.
- I indulge in temptations that I try to resist during the daytime.
- I trigger myself and then feel exasperated with myself. It’s a vicious cycle.
- I sing off-key in the car while driving home… with the windows up.
- I daydream about romance. Le sigh.
- I do the annoying baby talk to my dog and force him to snuggle with me.
Who are you when nobody is looking?
And how many sides do you have?
