LINK: fiddler on the rooftop
Sally asked if I wanted to go somewhere different, and I didn’t even have to think about it. Of course I did. I’m always down to explore random undescript spots that I probably wouldn’t have known on my own.

We parked across the street, crossed over, and walked into a hotel to take a quick elevator ride to the rooftop.

I was starving. I ordered the elote asado with shrimp, plus a quesataco with avocado, and an espresso. I was tired + hungry. I inhaled everything so fast because it was tasting so good.
The view from the top was incredible, but the fog started rolling in and the wind was making it cold for us so we didn’t stick around too long after eating.

We wandered around for a bit and ended up in front of the Top Gun house. It was built in 1887 and it went under major restoration. I loved watching Top Gun and Maverick so this was hella cool for me to see. I heard that they’re selling gluten-free hand pies out of the house now that are fairly decent. We were too late to grab one, so maybe next time.
