When I had WAZE, I had different voices: boy band, T-Pain, Snoop Dogg, British female, Australian male, and more.
But if I had this voice giving me directions… I think I’d get lost on purpose. *grin*

People got very confused and wondered if they’d called not just the right person but the right country!

It was Southeast Asian (India) English. Like a low paid, can’t hide their accent call center. I think I played with Australian at one point, too.

It’s “standard American” now – some people seemed … more upset than merited by the confusion the accents caused them.
