Currently listening to: Apologize – Timbaland feat. OneRepublic
I’m holding on your rope, got me ten feet off the ground
And I’m hearing what you say, but I just can’t make a sound
You tell me that you need me then you go and cut me down, but wait
You tell me that you’re sorry, didn’t think I’d turn around, and say (that)
“It’s too late to apologize (it’s too late).”
I said, “It’s too late to apologize (it’s too late).”
I’m fully in sloth mode right now—because it’s that time of the month and I’m living that #anemialife. It’s worse than last month because of the heat wave.
That said, in my half-lucid swiping on IG, I came across this. I had to fact-check it to make sure I’m not spreading misinformation. Apparently, when a female three-fingered sloth is ready to mate, she literally screams to attract a partner. NGL, I think that’s highly efficient and I love that for her.
It made me wonder though—what happens if she’s not attracted to the male who shows up? Or does that only apply to us humans in the animal kingdom?
