the weeknd episode four

Currently listening to: Truman – Stray Kids (HAN & Felix)

Woke up 5AM, tryna catch a plane, we don’t waste time
Since I was a kid, young ambitions got me out of school
No more following orders, now I make my own rules
Still got that fire, bright and shining like a jewel (Yeah)

Saturday late night.

My brother and sister-in-law dropped the kids off at their other aunt’s place for the night and came over to stay at mine with their adorable dog. Their dog isn’t welcome at the in-laws’ house, which is a little sad, but I also love dogs and cats. Give me all the fur babies.

My brother and I ended up watching an episode from season six of “The Handmaid’s Tale”. I stopped after season four because, honestly, June was getting annoying AF. I just didn’t have the energy to go through another season of her. But my brother gave me a quick rundown of what went down in season five, and… okay, I’ll admit it, I got sucked back in. The drama, the betrayal, it’s wild.

June remains annoying AF. I want to root for her, I really do, but she makes it hard. Serena, shows moments of growth… and then immediately does a U-turn. Aunt Lydia? Why does she have such a punchable face? And poor Janine. Alaska, will that be our safe haven too in this administration?

After that, we switched gears and watched MLB highlights. The Dodgers are looking like the United Colors of Benetton: three Japanese players, a Korean-American, and a full Korean on the roster. Nice.

Crashed out after that and slept like a baby. I had plans on Sunday, so I needed to be rested.

Was not much for the Handmaid’s Tale. Not my thing.

      It’s intense that’s for sure

I watched it for the first two seasons (which were meh) then I fell off. It got too much about agenda than story. Same sort of thing with The Last of Us. Can’t watch that after season 1.
