What makes you instantly turned off about someone?
Prompt snagged from: TCMC
There are so many, where do I start?
- anger issues – We both can’t be angry. I used to have a short fuse when I was younger, but now I’m pretty chill… unless you really push my buttons.
- selfishness – If it’s always about you, I’m out.
- bad hygiene – Poor grooming, bad breath, body odor? No, thank you.
- terrible in bed – Chemistry matters. If you’re all talk and no action, what are we even doing?
- being insensitive – If you can’t read the room or show basic empathy, it’s an instant no.
- not liking animals – If you don’t vibe with animals, I probably won’t vibe with you.
- gaslighting – If I catch even a whiff of manipulation, I’m gone.
- being a reckless or bad driver – If I have to fear for my life every time I get in the car with you, it’s not going to work.
- obsessing over money – Talking about money all the time—whether bragging or complaining—is exhausting.
- treating his mother like shit – How a man treats his mom is very telling.
- being controlling – If you think you’re going to dictate how I dress, who I talk to, or what I do, you’ve lost your mind.
- habitual lateness – Once or twice? Fine. Every single time? Disrespectful.
- constant negative energy – If you’re always complaining, always in a bad mood, or just draining to be around, I’d rather not.
- being lazy – Zero motivation, zero effort? Next.
- racism – Do I even need to explain?
- giving off “alpha male, Andrew Tate energy” – How you treat waitstaff, cashiers, and strangers says everything about you. If you think being a jerk is the same as being a leader, you’ve already lost me.
- gambling addiction – If you’re out here blowing paychecks on poker and sports bets, I don’t have time for that kind of chaos.
Honestly, the list could go on, but these are immediate turn-offs…
