Watching Squid Game season 2 reminded me of the sharp parallels of today’s socio-political atmosphere. Much like the first season, the new episodes depict players driven by debt and desperation, almost mirroring the real-world struggles of those in poverty.
The voting system in Squid Game is a striking allegory for modern democratic processes. In this season, the players decided whether to keep playing the deadly games or to stop.
I can’t wait for season three.
