Does anybody know the way to Atlantis
Or what the wind says when she cries I’m speeding by the place that I met you For the ninety seventh time tonight
My mom has recently started sending me memes, reels, and YouTube videos, and I’m honestly not sure how I feel about it. I mean, it’s something I’m used to doing with my friends all day long—sending each other completely random, irrelevant things that somehow make us laugh. But when it’s my mom doing it? It’s just… different. There’s something strangely amusing about it, but also kind of awkward.
Most of the time, I just send her a thumbs up and move on. Not that I don’t appreciate it, but it feels like we’re speaking a whole new language…
Anyone else find themselves in this situation? Or are your kids the ones sending you memes, reels, or TikToks, or do you also find yourself awkwardly “liking” everything they send, hoping it’s the right response?
