You can do it, put your back into it (come on)
I can do it, put your ass into it (come on) You can do it, put your back into it (come on) I can do it, put your ass into it Put your back into it Put your ass into itWhat advice would you give to your teenage self?
The unsolicited advice is endless but here we go:
- “Bitch, sit down. Be humble.”– Kendrick Lamar said it best. No matter how good you are at something, there’s always someone out there who’s better, faster, or smarter. Stay hungry, stay humble.
- stop romanticizing love.
- FAFO (fuck around and find out) is real, take responsibility for your actions. Â
- trust your intuition, it’s almost always right.
- friends come and go. Don’t force it. Appreciate the ones who stay and don’t chase the ones who leave.
- life isn’t fair.
- laziness costs you twice. Do things right the first time.
- do it alone. Learn to enjoy your own company if you’re waiting on someone to go with you who doesn’t want to go.
- failing isn’t the end. Trust the process and move on.
- rejection is redirection.
- don’t waste money on stupid shit, invest in things that matter.
- build a support system and don’t be a silo.
- stop worrying about things you can’t control. Focus on what you can control.
- don’t let your guard down, be aware of your surroundings. Not everyone has good intentions especially when you’re inebriated.
