My friends asked me what I’m doing for Valentine’s Day, but honestly? It’s just another day for me. That said, I might treat myself to Blaze Pizza since they’re running a promo—50% off any $20+ order on their app until the 17th. Sounds like a win to me.
It’s perfect timing too, since I just booked my hotel for the trip. We originally planned to stay at The Savoy, but due to our flight schedule, it would’ve pushed our Michelin dining experience later than we wanted. With only a handful of places offering reservations later in the evening, we settled on 1 Hotel Mayfair instead since it’s closer to where we were going to eat dinner.
I don’t know much about London, but my friend Five Star mentioned that she used to work nearby and that the first season of Bridgerton was filmed around this area. Random, but cool. I really wanted to try Chishuru, a one-star Michelin West African restaurant, but I got vetoed. Still lowkey salty about it—when else am I going to have a Michelin-starred West African dining experience? Le sigh…if anyone has tried Chishuru, please tell me what I’m missing out on.
