Currently listening: Lonely Road – MGK + Jelly Roll
I still prefer the original version by John Denver – Take Me Home, Country Roads. RIP.
write about your dream home

I’ve moved about 19 + times in my life, but out of all the places I’ve lived, my favorite home was our last one in Minnesota before we left the state. It was everything I could have wanted—spacious, charming, and full of little details that made it special.
The house sat on a beautiful half-acre lot, giving us plenty of space to stretch out. It was three stories tall, with a wraparound back porch that made summer evenings feel like a dream. Inside, there were four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and an unfinished basement that had so much potential—it could’ve been anything from a game room to extra living space, but we never quite got around to it.
The foyer was one of my favorite spots, with its soaring ceiling and elegant chandelier that made the whole space feel grand. The living room had a cozy fireplace perfect for Minnesota winters, while the kitchen had sleek marble countertops and plenty of natural light pouring in from the many windows. The master bathroom felt luxurious with its skylight and whirlpool tub.
Then there was the three-car garage and, my personal favorite feature: six points of entry. I used to sneak out of the house late at night and freely go in and out without being noticed. Despite having a house alarm, I had perfected the art of silently turning it off—I was stealthy like that. LOL!
The neighborhood was just as incredible as the house itself. It was an upscale area with respectful, considerate neighbors, and the best part was that there was no HOA. Everyone simply took care of their own property without needing a set of rules to tell them how to do it.
