The other day, I stumbled upon an artisan event where various artists were showcasing their crafts. One artist caught my attention with her focus on “schizophrenic surrealism”. I wasn’t exactly sure what that meant, but I decided to check out her low-maintenance plants.

I have a black thumb, and most of the plants I’ve owned have died pretty quickly—unfortunately, even the Venus Fly Trap terrarium I had once. It was so much fun watching it catch insects, but it didn’t last long.

This time, I decided to give plants another shot and picked up two.  I know…a bold maneuver.  The first is an Anthurium hybrid, and the artist mentioned its leaves could grow as big as my face. For some reason, that really piqued my curiosity. The second is a terrarium air plant paired with a mantra for luck.

When I turned it around, it read, “I attract abundance”.

I have no desire to become a hoarder, but let’s just say I’ve been manifesting winning the lottery for years now. God, please…

    I too have a black thumb. Hate getting my hands in dirt where there are bugs and all? Yuck. But hey, if it attracts good stuff then yay?

      Haha yes… I seem to over water the plants 😂 I keep thinking they’re like humans and need to be moisturized and hydrated

    Taking care of a plant is work with all that morning and evening ritual of watering them, it’s fun in the beginning but then it gets really tiring especially when life is lifeing. Best of luck sis

    I just happened to discover Chuck Prophet lol his vibes are totally different though. Selena Gomez is also a great artist but I know more of her acting work than her singing.

    For well over a year, anytime my friends raise their glasses and ask what should we toast to … I always say abundance. I’m manifesting wealth! Whenever I see 1:11 or 11:11 (a potent time to manifest), I stop whatever I’m doing and put it out there in the universe – I want to be wealthy. I will be generous and share, but I never want to worry about money again. Abundance! … And those are really cute plants, too!
