A headband, sweatband, baseball cap, or beanie device that can monitor subtle changes in the brain activity (much like an EEG sensor that can track brain wave patterns, sleep cycles, stress levels, cognitive performance, and pressure in the brain).
This could then identify early signs of diseases such as: Alzheimer’s, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar, migraine, stroke, epilepsy, encephalitis, hydrocephalus, brain aneurysm, Multiple Sclerosis, or Parkinson’s.
Once it has identified increased risk for these conditions, it will send a notification to the person via text, e-mail, or call, prompting the user to schedule a consult with their doctor or go to the emergency department.
This would then sync with an app on the user’s phone to keep records and to the electronic health record for seamless collaboration with doctors and specialists in real time.
It could enable early intervention, promote mental health awareness and proactive care, and improve the quality of life.
