Keanu Reeves. Honestly, he ought to be cloned. He is by far one of the most handsome assassins aside from Ryan Gosling in The Gray Man.
Okay, anyway back to the third chapter (I’ll try not to spoil the movie, but I can’t promise). I spent most of my time enjoying the different scenery from New York to Casablanca. I thought that they could have had a more menacing woman play The Adjudicator, but that’s just my opinion.
I couldn’t stop thinking about Iron Chef when I saw Zero, Mark Dacascos. He wanted to be so much like John Wick, it was as if he were trying to get the attention of his idol. For a moment, I forgot how pretty Halle Berry was until she appeared on the screen. It’s been a minute since I’ve seen anything with her in it. I also loved how every chapter has dogs in the movies. I’m partial to pitbulls but the Belgian Malinois attack dogs were rather impressive.
With $14 million bounty on his head, every assassin was trying to take their shot at John Wick, the zaddy dog dad. I think my favorite scene was the horse chase through manhattan, which is a reminder that you don’t mess with the Baba Yaga. The end scene blew me away, I couldn’t believe Winston.
And don’t get me started on the classical music that was in this flick. It was like a cornucopia of prime classics from Tchaikovsky, Grieg, and Vivaldi. The soundtrack is sick, in a good way. I almost didn’t want it to end.
Thanks, Nico, for recommending this movie!
