a tale of two cities

How would you design the city of the future?

If it were left to me, I’d have everything digitized to the max.  I have my masters in informatics and I enjoy using the latest technology that’s available to me. In this “city of the future”,  all the cars would drive by themselves, bullet trains going to and from the city, renewable energy sources, green technology, everything would be recycled and repurposed, with drone deliveries for small packages.  AI, fiber optics, and cryptocurrency will also be an imperative part of building this futuristic city.

Ronny Chieng joked about Amazon prime before and to be honest, I think there might be people who would be open to that.  Me?  Not so much because I’m really picky about what I want.

I love technology and as much as I love it, I have no qualms about ditching it too.  On the other side of the city, I’d develop an area for those seeking respite from being overstimulated.  It would have beaches, cabins, wildlife, trails, farming, and beautiful parks.  People could inhabit cabins, cottages, or single story homes that are sprawled out with large yards instead of high rises.

People could have the best of both worlds, if they chose…

I believe in options.

Good 👍 well said but if I get that chance then I would like to design the city with work opportunities for everyone ☺️ people should earn good to lead life there would be not big financial difference between people 😕
