hustle and flow

Currently listening to: Paparazzi – Lady Gaga

I feel like I live in two worlds.  The yin to my yang.  Gemini (twins in Latin).

Minnesota, where things are slower paced and people are living in the moment.  Things are almost too chill and possibly borderline boring?  Take that hour long lunch and stare into the abyss.  Drive thirty minutes to the next James Beard award winning chef’s restaurant.  The people are much more gentle and unpretentious.  I noticed that I don’t need to drink as much coffee to sustain myself.  I also find myself having almost minimal gastric issues.  I feel like I am on a huge cloud, floating away without a care in the world.

California, where things are faster paced and people are trying to keep up with the Kims or Kardashians.  It’s back to playing Tetris with my time again, with work, meeting up with friends, and pursuing my own projects.  Yes, take me to all the Michelin starred restaurants.  People are suspicious as to why you’re talking to them….what do they want?  But I love all the things that I can do here and keep myself busy.  I’m willing to drink that extra cup of coffee so I can squeeze another meet up with friends or attend another amazing event.  I’ll reach for my famotidine because that’s the price I pay to do more.  I live for the hustle and bustle.

I can relate to this too. Mumbai is the city that never sleeps. My hometown is chilled and laid back ☺️.

Mumbai is in the west, my hometown is in the East 😀. From one end to the other. Currently living in Mumbai.

Not as often, domestic flights are crazy expensive, train takes 2 days, before it was 3 (you live in the train those 2 or 3 days) and road travel is too far 😅. Life here is one adventure 😁.

Whoa that’s far!! I thought it would be much shorter of a distance

Nopes 😀. East of the country, sunrise. West sunset… best of both worlds. Mumbai is on the west, coastal area. My hometown is a hill station on the East.
