Why stop at one? I’ve got four.
- Listening to music. I’m transported into another world and as neurotic as it may seem, there are times when I can listen to a song for hours on repeat. I also love playing the keyboard, it’s a shame that I’m not talented enough to sing too. But if you take me to an NRB and a few shots of Soju later, I’ll be acting like I’m Lisa from Blackpink and shit.
- Living in the moment. I can’t change the past or ruminate about it, what’s done is done. My IDGAF energy is big this year. All I can do is make today, right now, a good time. Â
- Consumerism had me in a chokehold, I was so busy Keeping up with the Kim’s that it no longer made me feel good. Instead, I was chasing after the latest trends and never satisfied. Instead of buying luxury products, I’m finding myself spending money on experiences instead. Whether it’s traveling, going to concerts, indulging in decadent restaurants, or impromptu events with friends or family, I’ll remember those experiences for a longer period of time and I can re-live them over and over again as I see the photos and videos I take. These small cherished moments can define relationships with the people in my inner circle and my life narrative.
- Having downtime with myself. I work a lot so I need a release otherwise I will implode. DD2. IYKYK.
