My fav card game is cards against humanity. It’s so unhinged that I can’t stop laughing thinking about it. I can’t even explain the game, except that it’s highly inappropriate most of the times.
My fav board game is risk. It’s a classic and extremely time consuming but it’s about making strategic decisions and domination.
I’m not much of a video gamer because I’m not coordinated enough for the controllers but whenever my friends and I used to play FPS on the computer, we would bring it. I remember using screen names such as “preparation h”, “two inches of pain”, or “Rojie 보지” and infuriating a bunch of men when I’d demolish them…till they realized that I was a female. Then they became intrigued.
But of all of these games, I adore the murder mystery dinners. The last one I went to was a couple of years ago with my dear friend at the Hotel Normandie, in K-Town. Supposedly the hotel is haunted? I didn’t notice anything during my stay. Anyway, everyone was dressed up in their roaring 20’s fits. I didn’t feel the need to spend money on a flapper dress for a two day event so I just took stuff from my closet from previous Halloween/themed parties that I had. TBH, I’m not even sure I was in the right era but no one said anything. We were all working together to figure out who the murderer was and hypothesizing different motives. I found this to be mentally stimulating for me and fun being with others who were like-minded
