greatness

Hmm when I look back at the influential teachers/professors that I’ve had, these were a few things that made them phenomenal:

• relatable, they would share small bits of their lives with us…it helped us remember that they are human too.
• empathetic
• highly intelligent, I didn’t need someone who was going to read verbatim what was on the slide deck.  I wanted to hear a story behind what was said so that it would help me remember.  I wanted to know more than what was on the screen.
• challenging but not impossible.  I am up for a challenge but I don’t want to set myself up for failure either.
