What are your daily habits?
My weekends in general differ from my weekdays.
My weekdays are a carefully orchestrated blend of routine and necessity. Â
Each day kicks off with:
- Coffee (1-2 cups) which is essential to jumpstart my energy levels
- Take my iron supplements and vitamins to stay healthy and functional
- Take a much needed nap in my car during lunch break. I have to leave the building to feel like I’ve escaped for the moment.
- Work (I juggle two jobs on the weekdays, which keeps me on my toes)
- Despite the hustle, I make time for exercise, which is a great stress reliever
- Socials (I also put blogging in this category) while watching a true crime documentary. For me, it’s a systematic way of staying connected with friends and unwinding.
- Studying (can’t wait till I’m done with this)
- Facial regimen to keep my skin in check
- Followed by some well-deserved sleep
My weekends are jam packed with usually fun activities. I’m trying to keep some sort semblance of life. Â
It could consist of any of these:
- Rooftop exercise in DTLA, this is always fun for me because the views are amazing
- Go to a concert
- Masturbate feverishly, I consider this self-care, is it not? NGL but I do it on the weekdays too.
- Get chemical peels or microneedling because I’m on a mission to getting glass skin
- Eat at hole in the wall or high end restaurants
- Spend time with the fam (friends and family)
- Go on holiday (I live for exploring and revisiting old haunts)
- Check out Yelp events
- Sleep in, there have been moments when I’ve slept for thirteen or fourteen hours (fragmented, but still)
- Meal prep (it’s not that fun unless I’m trying a new recipe)
- The inevitable doom scrolling and wasting time while rotting in bed…because balance, right?
