What’s the most delicious thing you’ve ever eaten?
If you asked him, he would say, “네 보지” *grins devilishly*
For me, it’s the Michelin Star Kenzo Napa prepared bento box (double layer) with a full flight of estate wines in the Bakken designed tasting room.
It consisted of: US prime beef striploin Kuwayaki, Sawara Mackerel Saikyoyaki, Japanese fried chicken, simmered sea eel and eggplant, blue shrimp with sweet corn, Tamagoyaki, string beans with sesame + soy sauce, simmered pearl onion with red miso, fingerling potatoes, green asparagus, shishito peppers, greenleaf lettuce, and Chirashi sushi.
I ate this ravenously, even though we had other fine dining engagements later that evening. The wine paired beautifully with the food.
It nearly brought me to tears, how good it was…
