Currently listening to: She Doesn’t Mind – Sean Paul

Girl, I got you so high, and I know you like
So come and push it on me, if it feels alright
When you drop it low, and break me off
No, she doesn’t mind-ind

We went to a concert the other night and I had so much fun. Look at me acting like I didn’t have to work the next morning or that I didn’t stay out late the night before for a movie screening and worked twelve hours.

Since we had VIP passes, we were able to enter the Foundation room for a pre-party for drinks, food, and music.

Here’s the Foundation Room, we were one of the few who went early because it was our first time.  This room had such a vibe with the classy fixtures, dark mode, and deejay spinning intoxicating music.

I love deejays, but this will be for another post… that one deejay that I was in a situationship with.

The concert was slated to start at 1900 but Sean Paul didn’t get on stage till almost 2100. I’m not mad but I was concerned that he might not come out to perform. I was literally living my early 2000’s with all the music. I love reggae and reggaeton.

Most of the area was standing room only.  We had reserved seats, which was the way to go because I was hella tired from working copious hours, and being able to sit down and enjoy the concert was fucking awesome, especially when he rolled in late.  We did get up and dance and sing too but having the option to sit down when we were exhausted was magical.

We ordered pizza from the runner and she quickly brought it over.  It was mid but I wasn’t expecting gourmet pizzas here.  I’m glad she was running the food back and forth because the place was packed and maneuvering around the crowd was annoying and challenging.

Then there was the after-party…
What happens at the after-party, stays in the after-party. grin
