Since my last post was about high school, I’m going to continue this theme. First off, let’s address my bangs. WTF? I can’t believe I was walking around looking like that. Luckily, it grew out quickly, which made it look better. Thank God.
Living in Minnesota, I always knew I was different than others. Most of my friends were Caucasian…Germans and Norwegians specifically.
Back in high school, when the weight of responsibilities hadn’t fully settled on my shoulders, my after-work and weekend escapades with the German twins were legendary. We all worked together, so it was only natural that we’d spend our free time together too.
Our routine was simple: drink, party, go clubbing, or attend events. We were young, wild, and ready to take on the world. The twins’ house was the hub, where we all gathered. My parents could never. They were at their wit’s end, trying to control me but this was just the beginning of me breaking free of their clutches.
Another coworker of ours at the time would tag along. She had a lot of emotional issues and we knew she was different but we didn’t mind having her join our group. This was her birthday cake. We were so fucking raunchy even back then. Hah. We used to have so much fun back then.
