I’m not sure if it’s funny or not but regardless, recently a surge of exes and former crushes are trying to reconnect on social media.  Everyone’s coming out of the woodwork.

While these familiar faces are showing up on my notifications,  I can’t help but wonder…what if?  After all, we are one decision away from having a completely different life.

In the past, my philosophy was to let the past be the past.  Shut that door, lock it, and throw away the keys.  Forget they even exist.  But now, I just don’t care anymore…in fact, I find it rather amusing.  So, whether it’s funny or not, I find it fascinating that the universe has conspired to bring these familiar faces back into my digital sphere. And while the past is just that – the past – and who knows when our paths will cross again.

I mean take for example, it’s been over a decade since I hung out with my ex’s friend, GI, and now we’re hanging out more now than ever before.
