nostalgia

For the most part, my face is done peeling except my neck.  I still keep it under wraps with a scarf.

We went to a local Mexican restaurant and ate a quick late lunch before walking over to the venue.

My friend invited me to the Pop 2000 tour concert with her and her daughter.  The event was sold out and consisted of music from the early 2000’s.

All of those songs were taking me back, man..talk about nostalgia.

While my friend was waiting for the fried Oreos that she ordered for her daughter, she managed to snag a selfie with Ryan Cabrera.  I screamed, “OMG” when she sent me the snap.

I almost got teary-eyed when Brad from LFO told the story about how Devin and Rich (his other bandmates) passed away and he had their sneakers in remembrance.  Brad was my fav in the group so of COURSE I had to get the meet and greet with him.  He has the look that most women including me are attracted to, he’s got this…universal good.  When we got to meet him, he was all tatted, super kind, and soft-spoken.  He almost looked broken because he seemed so delicate and frail.  I’m such a nerd; I asked him for a hug.  It looked like he could use one…or maybe I needed it more than I realized…
