I got dressed up to go out to a pop-up event with a friend. I wore my white rabbit hoodie and crossbody bag. Everything was so kawaii, I loved it.
My mom: *scrutinized my fit* and asked me in Korean, how old are you?
Me: “I’m 10”
My mom: she laughed. Then said that the sweatshirt was unique and cute.
Me: “I know, that’s why I got it.”
I love everything about this hoodie. The candy-like front pouch, the candy drawstrings, and rabbit patches. All fucking adorable.
When we got there, the line was already wrapped around the building. I didn’t think so many people would pull up but they did. It literally took us two hours to get to the merch. It was worth it though because I got this pink bunny (the ears can detach) backpack which also can be a tote with a different strap. Her website is sold out of this bag. I think it would look super cute wearing a schoolgirl fit. I got the pink and white bag, my friend bought the black and gray bag.
Afterward, we got ice cream where the pop-up was held. I got two scoops, one of vanilla with caramel ribbons and brownie bites and another scoop of sea salt and ube swirl. I am obsessed with ube and pandan (for now, subject to change at any moment).
I had a Yelp event to go to when we finished up with our ice cream. This event entailed a free burger, side, and drink. I knew I didn’t want to eat all of that by myself so I dragged my friend to this event too. I was able to customize the burger with brioche bread, cheddar cheese (classic and I also dislike American cheese), garlic aioli, over-easy egg, grilled jalapenos, and grilled onions. For the side, I opted for onion rings. I love onion rings, especially if they’re panko-fried or beer-battered.
